Sauna Shield should be applied to a new sauna installation after being cleaned with Sauna Shine. Again, depending on usage will depend on when Sauna Shield needs to be reapplied. It can be applied when the wood starts to look dull or every 3 to 6 months to maintain protection.

Depending on usage, Sauna Shield should be applied every 1 – 3 months in a commercial sauna. The wood will start to look dull and sweat, and water will start to absorb into the wood when it needs to be oiled.
